Crime Watch Treasurer Chris Hall and I spoke with General Manager Chuck Chears following the Tax District meeting last night. We asked him about the status of replacing the damaged signs in the Sangaree subdivisions.
Mr. Chears told us that the signs at the Sangaree entrance and Springlake Village will be replaced today or tomorrow. The sign for The Cove was hit by a drunk driver and is the next one scheduled for replacement. Following that, Mr. Chears could not say precisely when, the signs for Indian Woods and Tabby Creek will be replaced.

Last night, the Sangaree Special Tax District held their quarterly public meeting. The General Manager delivered his report and three items of new business were discussed, including Little League practices, a new building for the tax district and commissioner nominations.
