Summer Events at the Sangaree Library

Sangaree LibraryJune 14 at 2 p.m. - VanDoren, the Magician, is coming to the Berkeley County Library at Sangaree! Children will particularly enjoy this event.

June 19, 7:30-9:30 p.m. - Teens are invited to attend a game night at the library. Free refreshments and door prizes will be available. Teens may bring their favorite fame or play some at the library.

June 4 - July 28 - Get a Clue at the Library! The children and teens’ summer story time theme for this summer is mysteries. Research shows reading throughout the summer helps prevent students from loosing information from the last school year, so involve your children in this program! The program rules are available online. Contact the library for additional information.

Friends of the Library, a non profit volunteer group, is selling memorial bricks. All profits from this sale will be made available to the library to purchase items the county budget may not be able to supply. After being engraved with names of individuals, families or business names, the bricks will be professionally installed along the existing sidewalks at the library. (This program is similar to the fences at Gahagan Park) They cost $60 each. Plan to take part in a long lasting display of your support of the library. Forms are available at the library or by contacting Suzette Joyce, chairman of the Sangaree FOL at suzjoyce@att.net.
