I just wanted to remind you that the Sangaree Crime Watch will be holding our monthly meeting at the Palmetto Land Baptist Church tonight, Thursday, June 21, 2007, at 7:00 p.m.

Crime Watch meeting this Thursday the 17th, at 7:00 p.m.
We will be meeting at the Palmetto Land Baptist Church.
SGT Jackson and Roxanne Wiley of 911 will be attending Thursday night. SGT Jackson will be giving part 2 of gang awareness and Roxanne will be discussing 911 communications.
As for Block Captains, we have 8 sub-divisions with volunteers. [Cobblestone, Highland, Pebble Creek, Prestwick, Sangaree Gardens, Spring Lake, and Victoria.]

Last night, the Sangaree Special Tax District held their quarterly public meeting. The General Manager delivered his report and three items of new business were discussed, including Little League practices, a new building for the tax district and commissioner nominations.

Yesterday evening, the third meeting of the Sangaree Crime Watch was held at the Palmetto
Land Baptist Church. The meeting was attended by approximately 50-60 residents.
Vice Chairman Joe Cornish opened the meeting by thanking everyone for coming. He invited the attendees to review flyers provided to the Sangaree Crime Watch by Berkeley County Sheriff department’s SGT Jackson. The flyers included information about gang awareness, safety tips for women and the effect of violent media on the human brain. Mr. Cornish then introduced Chairman Brad Green.
