Berkeley County Council Meeting

On Saturday Dan Williams and Suzette Joyce practiced for the meeting. 18 Sangaree residents showed up to help and show support.

Statistics of Sangaree and Berkeley county crime were presented. Some of the information was shocking.

Photos have been taken of vandalism throughout Sangaree and will be presented to the council in a packet that also contains data on Sangaree crime.

The Library is expected to open some time in the first part of March. The library staff is hoping for the 1st of March.

2 arrested in library vandalism

Council Representative, Cathy Davis says that two boys have been arrested for vandalizing the Sangaree library. A third is about to be arrested. The boys all live in North Charleston and are being held without bail.

Sangaree Neighbors Speak Out Against Vandalism

Residents in the Sangaree area of Berkeley county say they are fed up with a recent rash of vandalism. Wednesday news two told you that someone broke into the new Sangaree library and caused $20,000 in damage.

New Sangaree library vandalized!

The new new Sangaree library was vandalized sometime between January 6th and 16th 2007. The suspects are believed to be teenagers who broke into the branch and destroyed about $20,000 worth of computers, furniture, windows and books.
